Official Statement on the Assumption of Office by the Board of Directors

When the work is completed in the 2027/28 season, Tajonar will be one of the largest and most modern academies in LaLiga.
Today, Club Atlético Osasuna has begun work on its ‘Futuro Tajonar’ project, which will see the expansion of its sports complex. Operations have begun with earthworks on land owned by the club. This is the starting point for construction work that will last approximately 24 months and will make Tajonar one of the largest and most modern academies in LaLiga.
'Futuro Tajonar' is the project through which Osasuna will carry out the most significant expansion and renovation of its sports facilities since their construction in 1982. Tajonar is one of the academies that has developed the most elite footballers in Europe. Mikel Merino, César Azpilicueta, Nacho Monreal or Raúl García are examples of this. The club will invest €18 million in the project. In addition to the current facilities, Tajonar will add a small stadium, two natural grass pitches, two artificial turf pitches and a two-storey building that will house the first team's daily training and the club's offices.
The expansion will take place on land owned by Osasuna. The Tajonar facilities will thus occupy a total of 299,282 square metres, of which 194,868 are owned by the club. In other words, the new facilities will be the property of Osasuna.
One of the main points of the project is the construction of a small natural grass stadium with two stands and a capacity for 2,800 spectators. The project provides for a future extension that includes the construction of a grandstand at each end to increase the total capacity to 5,000 spectators. The stadium will be used by both Osasuna Femenino and Osasuna Promesas to play their home matches. The first team of the club will continue to play at El Sadar stadium, which was named the best renovated stadium in the world in 2021 by the international specialist website Stadium DB. These projects represent the growth of Osasuna, which is playing its seventh consecutive season in LaLiga EA Sports, Spain's top football division.
